GET INVOLVED WITH THE OCA-PTA
OCA-PTA is an integral part of Ohr Chadash Academy. We plan exciting programs for our students, families, and the community throughout the year including:
- Back to School Picnic
- Teacher appreciation events
- Melave Malka social for parents
- Rosh Chodesh Treats
- Shavuot Bake Sale
- Yom Ha’atzmaut Community Program
- Hot lunch
- Saturday Night Learning (SNL)
Funding from the OCA PTA picks up where Ohr Chadash Academy’s operating budget leaves off. We encourage all parents, grandparents and interested community members to show their support by becoming members of OCA PTA. Membership is $36 for a supporting member (which comes with 1 free OCA T-shirt) however, any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. You can sign up for membership online.

Birthday Books
Dedicate a book in honor of a loved one’s birthday. You can donate $36 to the OCA PTA and have your loved one choose a book that will be dedicated to their ECC or ES classroom library in their honor of their birthday. A label with the child’s name, birthday, and who sponsored will be placed inside the front cover. They will also receive a coupon for a free cupcake from the bakery along with a birthday card indicating your generous gift. You can sign up for this amazing opportunity online.
Sponsor a Rosh Chodesh Treat
Help sponsor a monthly Rosh Chodesh treat for all OCA students in honor of a special birthday, favorite holiday or anniversary celebrated that month. Sign up in advance online!
