Financial philosophy
OCA assists families in meeting their tuition obligation through a variety of programs, subject to availability, based on the level of demonstrated financial need.
Financial aid awards
Our Financial Assistance program, for students in grades K through 8, benefits approximately 35% of students, who receive nearly $460,000 in awards annually.
While we work hard to raise money for our Scholarship Fund, financial aid funds are limited. Awards are decided on a case-by-case basis. The financial aid application process is strictly confidential and carefully considers each family's personal circumstances. To be eligible for consideration, financial aid applications must be completed, along with all required documentation, prior to the financial aid deadline each year.
Applications are reviewed by a confidential committee, and awards are contingent upon ongoing adherence to specified terms and obligations.
Child care subsidy vouchers
As a Maryland EXCELS participant, Ohr Chadash Academy accepts tuition vouchers from the Maryland Department of Education.
Boost scholarships
The State of Maryland awards needs-based scholarships to eligible students each year.
