Inside OCA
OCA PTA
Get involved with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The OCA PTA is an integral part of Ohr Chadash Academy. Parents play an essential and positive role in the life of our school and OCA is fortunate to be supported by an active PTA. We encourage parents to support the PTA by volunteering their time, participating in PTA-sponsored events, and by making a donation.
The OCA PTA raises money for the school, plans family and community events, and promotes camaraderie among our community. Among the many PTA-sponsored events, are the following:
- Back to School Picnic
- PTA Printed Calendar
- Saturday Night Learning
- Rosh Chodesh Treats
- Parent-Teacher Melave Malka
- Teacher Gifts
- Mishloach Manot
- Yom Ha’atzmaut Tekes and Celebration
- Shavuot Bake Sale
- Hot Lunch
- OCA Gear
Funding from the OCA PTA picks up where Ohr Chadash Academy’s operating budget leaves off. We encourage all parents, grandparents and interested community members to show their support by becoming members of OCA PTA.
