WELCOME, MRS. DAWN KREISBERG 

We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Dawn Kreisberg will become OCA’s ECC Director in July, 2021. 

Mrs. Kreisberg is a warm, dynamic, and innovative early childhood educational 
leader with an impressive record of leadership in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and most recently Irvine, California. In Atlanta, she was Director of the Gan Israel Early Childhood Center and Director of Educational Services for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. From there, she became the Early Childhood Principal of Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy in Los Angeles. For the past six years, she has been the Director of Olam Jewish Montessori Early Childhood Center in Irvine, California.

Mrs. Kreisberg’s expertise in child-centered curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and family education has earned her a stellar reputation for creating stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments that bring out the best in every child. She is highly regarded for her personal engagement and nurturing and supportive relationships with students, teachers, and parents, so we know that she will seamlessly fit into the OCA family!

Mrs. Kreisberg holds a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education and Administration/Principal credentials from the Siegal College of Judaic Studies.  She and her husband, Michael, have four adult children and three grandchildren. Their daughters, Alizah (Shmuli) Krischer and Chana Malka (Avromi) Lowenthal, live in Lakewood, NJ. Their son, Binyomin (Ayelet) Kreisberg lives in Riverdale, NY, and their son, David Kreisberg, is a student at Yeshiva University.
