OCA STAY AND PLAY

OCA is pleased to offer Stay & Play, our extra-curricular program for our ECC through Fifth Grade students.  This program begins immediately after the school day ends and runs for two hours (3:30 PM to 5:30 PM), four days each week (Monday through Thursday).

Every day, the first hour begins with a healthy snack provided by OCA, followed by engaging, fun, and creative activities. Each trimester the activities vary so that the students enjoy a different recreational and/or educational interest each day of the week. During this time slot, they learn different skill sets from shooting hoops on the basketball court and passing the ball on the soccer field, to learning various tie-dye techniques and how to decorate cupcakes.

During the second hour of OCA Stay & Play, children are supervised in the homework clinic and/or play educational games or do outdoor play.  In our homework clinic, students are able to work on their Judaic and general studies homework in a conducive environment under teacher supervision. Students can go to the gaming corner or outdoors once homework is completed. If you prefer to do homework with your child/ren at home, the entire second hour of our program is tailored with supervised educational and fun games or supervised outdoor play.
