SUPPORT SERVICES AND ENRICHMENT
OCA provides an environment in which all children are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our administration, teachers, and support staff are all dedicated to the success of each student. We collaborate with parents to maximize each child’s academic and social development. Using differentiated instruction, our students are challenged to learn at their individual level within the context of the high academic standards in the classroom setting. Each child is individually evaluated in order to address enrichment or special education needs.
OCA partners with SHEMESH, an organization which provides academic services for students with learning differences. As necessary, outside support services can be provided by Baltimore City Public Schools, private organizations and/or tutoring. Our directors of Academic Support, Ms. Nechama Schwartz (Grades K-3) and Mrs. Rena Einbinder (Grades 4-8), coordinate support services with teachers, parents, and/or internal/external programs.
Additionally, we provide a weekly enrichment program for advanced learners.
